As the new academic year is well underway, a school we have a strong partnership with is looking for dedicated and experienced SEN teachers to help deliver their creative and engaging curriculum. You will be supporting students of secondary school age who have a range of complex needs, providing crucial teaching in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
The role:
* Deliver tailored lessons to meet the unique needs of the students with additional needs
* Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning and development
* Work closely with a team of professionals, including teaching assistants and specialists, to address the educational and emotional needs of the students
* Implement and track Individual Learning Plans (ILP’s), ensuring student progress is closely monitored
About you:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Previous experience working with students with additional needs
* Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum
* A good understanding of additional needs and strategies to support young learners
* High expectations for student outcomes and a passion for helping them achieve their full potential
* Must have a valid driving licence and access to your own car
