My client is one of the largest independently owned stockists and distributors of valves, actuators, instrumentation, and automation packages across the UK and Europe. Due to expansion, they are seeking a Project Sales Engineer to join their team, focusing on providing technical solutions, project management, and business development within the EPC and Oil & Gas sectors.
Location: Teesside (Office-Based with Occasional Travel)
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage with EPCs across the UK and offshore to build and strengthen client relationships.
* Provide technical solutions and project management support for long-term sales cycles.
* Develop and present tailored technical proposals for customers.
* Work closely with internal technical teams to ensure successful project execution.
* Contribute to business growth through strategic sales initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Strong background in engineering and project sales, ideally within process control at a distributor.
* Open to candidates from other engineering disciplines with relevant sales experience and route-to-market expertise.
* Proven experience handling long sales cycles and managing technical sales projects.
* A proactive, hands-on attitude with a willingness to work, learn, and grow within the company.
