**Community Producer**Job Role Location Middlesbrough **Job Description**This is an exciting time to join our small team, to help shape creative community engagement across Redcar & Cleveland and Middlesbrough. We are looking for someone who is people-centred, excited about working at a grass-roots level, and who wishes to inspire and repower people to be active contributors and creative change-makers in their own communities. Working closely with the Creative Producer and our citizens, you will build on the current programme, helping to identify gaps in the offer, nurturing existing relationships and building new ones. You will build sustainable relationships and develop multiple entry points for identified communities who experience obstacles in accessing creative activities and will help to realise work of strong artistic calibre, which supports communities, and chimes with Borderlands’ ambitions to ensure residents in Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland actively collaborate in making and sharing the rich culture of our communities. The position we are filling is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and a satisfactory DBS disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required as part of our clearance procedures.
