An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Salaried GP to join our friendly & supportive team working 5-6 sessions per week (ideally over Wed - Fri) in Windsor & Eton.
We are located over two sites in a purpose-built medical centre in Windsor and a converted church in Eton, making it quite unique, and all staff do work across the two sites.
Sessions include a mixture of face-to-face and telephone appointments with an opportunity to help us shape clinical triage.
A workflow team ensures that GPs only see the hospital correspondence that requires action, and a strong PCN visiting Paramedic team means home visits are kept to a minimum.
Main duties of the job
Provide medical services for our Practice population to an excellent standard complying with all GMS and GMC regulations.
Adhere to the principles of good medical practice.
About us
We are a two-site 14,000 patient Practice in Windsor and Eton looking after 3 care homes and a number of other interests, using EMIS, Docman, AccuRx and DXS. Our team includes 14 GPs, 4 Nurses, 1 Nurse Associate, 1 Healthcare Assistant, and 1 Advanced Paramedic Practitioner plus a strong admin team to support all of the clinicians. We are also a training Practice with 3 GP Trainers and normally at least 2 junior doctors working alongside us. All GPs take part in supervision and debriefs of junior doctors and other clinical staff.
Clinical meetings take place weekly on Monday lunchtimes, and attendance is highly encouraged. For those who do not normally work on Mondays, we give time back for attending.
We are heavily involved in Windsor Primary Care Network and have Clinical Pharmacists, MSK Practitioners, and Care Coordinators on site working with us.
Our patient register is diverse, leading to a range of interesting clinical presentations.
We have been fully supportive of our GPs undertaking fellowships to aid their development and would be happy to support those wanting to take on a clinical lead area within the Practice.
