Job summary We are looking for an experienced phlebotomist to join our small phlebotomy team. Ealing Community Partners currently provide a Domiciliary Phlebotomy service for patients who are unable to attend a GP surgery, clinic or outpatient department by providing a test within their own home. Many of our patients are frail and it can be very difficult to obtain a sample it is therefore it is essential that you are an experienced phlebotomist with a proven history of practice. You will be expected to visit patients within their own homes across the London Borough of Ealing and as such a requirement of the role is that you hold a full drivers licence and that you are eligible to drive in the UK. Main duties of the job Visiting allocated patients autonomously at the patient's usual place of residence. Obtaining requested blood samples in the correct vials as required by referrer. Delivery of collected samples to local pathology lab or agreed GP practice for analysis.
