Job Title: Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) Location: Edenbridge,Kent Position Type: Temporary Reports To: Practice Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) to join our clients dynamic minor injury team team. The ENP will provide advanced nursing care to patients experiencing acute health issues, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based treatment in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Patient Assessment: Perform thorough assessments, including physical exams and medical histories, to diagnose and treat a variety of emergency conditions. Clinical Management: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications, performing procedures, and ordering diagnostic tests. Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Emergency Procedures: Perform essential emergency procedures such as intubation, wound suturing, and central line placement as needed. Patient Education: Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care. Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to departmental protocols and guidelines. Continuous Learning: Stay current with advancements in emergency care practices and participate in ongoing professional development. Qualifications: Education: Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Certification: National certification as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with emergency experience. Licensure: Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in UK. Experience: Minimum of 1 years of clinical experience in an emergency department or urgent care setting. Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced certifications in emergency care (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC). Previous experience in trauma care or critical care settings.
