We are partnering with a well-established, independent consultancy that specializes in managing and controlling waterborne pathogens. They offer bespoke, impartial consultancy services, including system auditing, training, and UKAS-accredited Legionella Risk Assessments, helping clients navigate complex HSE guidelines, legislation, and compliance.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a dedicated Risk Assessor to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a degree-level qualification and will play a key role in completing Legionella Risk Assessments across hospitals, clinics, and NHS sites. As a Risk Assessor responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting Risk Assessment Surveys for Legionella, Pseudomonas, and other waterborne pathogens
2. Developing Water Safety Plans, procedural manuals, and policy documentation
3. Implementing pre-planned maintenance schedules and advising on water treatment regimes
4. Managing design verification, compliance, and handover for new builds and refurbishments
5. Offering independent, expert advice on water safety and quality matters
6. Providing complete project management for bespoke projects
Risk Assessor key requirements:
· A clean UK driving license is essential
· At least 2 years’ experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
· Ideally holding a degree in a related field
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
