Participating in the collection, analysis, evaluation and administration of data for audit purposes. Providing a supportive role to nutrition research projects. Participating in dietetic service meetings, department meetings, MDT meetings and care planning meetings. Being professionally and legally accountable for own work. Being an effective communicator and have the ability to overcome barriers. Communication with a patient can be affected by their physical, emotional or psychological state: e.g. dysphasia, depression. Using and developing computer skills for nutritional analysis, data entry, database, email, word processing and presentation development. Maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
