Social Worker – Integrated Triage & Assessment Services
Newly Qualified Social Workers will commence on Grade 9 pay and job description before progressing to grade 10 after 2 years in post. Experienced social workers will commence at Grade 10 pay and job description. Both job descriptions can be viewed below.
This position qualifies for a market supplement payment of £200 per month. Please note this additional payment will be reviewed on 31 March 2025.
The successful candidate may be eligible to receive up to a maximum of £8,000 (including VAT) towards the cost of expenses incurred due to relocating to Ceredigion. We currently have opportunities for permanent Social Work roles within our Integrated Triage and Assessment Team, Porth Gofal. The positions are open to recently qualified social workers as well as experienced social workers. The role includes working with adults and carers across Ceredigion who require an assessment within the remit of the Social Services and Wellbeing Act (2014) Wales.
Our aim as a service is to support individuals and their families at the earliest opportunity with a focus on recovery and enabling individuals to live as independently as possible. As a social worker in this role, you will have the opportunity to work flexibly and creatively with families adopting a strengths-based approach.
Porth Gofal is an integrated service with close working relationships with our local health board and partner agencies. This enables us to work collaboratively and ensure that individuals are supported at the right time by the right service.
