10-month Fixed Term Contract | February to November 2025 | Term time only |
Working Monday to Wednesday | 7 hours each day
Pay: £13.50 ph (inclusive of holiday pay)
Are you passionate about supporting mental health education in schools?
Buckinghamshire Mind is looking for a Mental Health Educator to join our team and make a real impact on students, parents, and staff across Buckinghamshire and East Berkshire.
As a Mental Health Educator, you will be delivering workshops, training, and talks to help raise awareness and foster better understanding of mental health. You’ll play a key role in promoting mental wellbeing in schools, and you will be an essential part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver workshops and training sessions to students, staff, and parents.
* Raise awareness of mental health issues and provide guidance on how to manage and seek help.
* Work alongside staff and volunteers to promote a culture of positive mental health across schools.
Requirements:
* A genuine passion for mental health education and well-being.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Relevant experience in teaching, education, youth work, care work or similar.
* Able to follow plans for delivering workshops and talks to a range of audiences including infant and primary school students, secondary students, teachers and parents.
* Access to a vehicle and appropriate insurance (work-related mileage will be reimbursed). Alternative travel arrangements will be considered.
