Job summary Commissioning Support Officer - Learning Disabilities/Mental Health and Wellbeing - Band 6 £42,939 - £50,697 Inclusive of hcas pro rata per annum Full time hours 37.5 per week This is a significant opportunity to take on a commissioning support role in the delivery of services for vulnerable children, young people and adults in Bromley. The role will support a team of clinicians and commissioners to take forward key work to deliver better services for people with learning disabilities and mental health challenges. The role will be a good fit for individuals with a strong ability to deliver robust administrative services, to workseamlessly across a number of different project areas simultaneously, and for someone able to lead small-scalecommissioning projects to a high quality, meeting set deadlines. The role would also be a good fit for someone who wants to make a positive difference in the lives of children, young people and adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health challenges, groups who often have poorer health and other outcomes than other groups. Interviews expected to be held on 2nd & 3rd April 2025 Main duties of the job The One Bromley Local Care Partnership (LCP) are seeking a Commissioning Support Officer - Learning Disabilities/Mental Health and Wellbeing. This is a new post in the One Bromley System with an opportunity for the incoming postholder to make their mark within this critical area. The role will provide support related to All-Age Learning Disabilities/Mental Health and Wellbeing Commissioning, including the provision and coordination of robust administrative services. Additionally, the postholder will coordinate work across the team to complete Freedom of Information (FOI), Subject Access Requests (SARs), MP and councillor enquiries, public questions and other information requests in relation to learning disabilities/mental health and wellbeing commissioning. The post holder will work closely with the Integrated Care Board's (ICB) Associate Director, commissioning leads and other colleagues to secure excellent outcomes for vulnerable people in Bromley. The partnership is led by a number of key senior officers of the Bromley system and includes all the main NHS providers in Bromley, London Borough of Bromley, Bromley Third Sector Enterprise, St Christopher's Hospice and SEL ICB (through Bromley borough based structures). Person Specification Education / Qualifications Essential Educated to degree level in relevant subject, such as project management or business administration, or an equivalent level of knowledge acquired through study, training and experience Experience Essential Experience of effective delivery within a business planning and/or office context with an understanding of administrative processes and procedures. Experience of utilising effective business planning and/or information systems. Desirable Demonstrated experience of delivering improvement projects in complex and challenging environments.
