Finance Assistant

We are currently seeking a diligent Finance Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis for 3 months. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing both our purchase and sales ledgers, as well as performing reconciliations. This role is perfect for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and ready to start immediately.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Maintaining accurate records for all purchase ledger transactions.
* Handling the sales ledger, ensuring that all sales invoices are issued, and payments are received on time.
* Bank reconciliations and reconciling ledger accounts.
* Responding to and resolving finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in finance, particularly with purchase ledger and sales ledger management.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
