About the role
We are looking for an outstanding and ambitious software engineer to join our Knowledge Transfer Partnership. This role is based at Team Fostering in Newcastle upon Tyne. Your responsibilities will include managing and delivering an Innovate UK awarded KTP between the University of Sunderland and Team Fostering, focusing on a strategic innovation programme within the company to significantly improve performance.
As a team member, you will play a crucial role in propelling our programme's advancement by effectively applying your knowledge and expertise within a business-oriented context.
This position is a fixed-term contract for 30 months.
What you can bring
The successful candidate will hold a 2.1 bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related discipline, with a developer background. Support, guidance and training will be provided. A generous budget for personal training and development will be made available for your professional development, which can be tailored to address gaps in knowledge required to deliver this project and develop skills for future career progression. Travel and substance budget and residential leadership and management courses are available to support the delivery of the project and your development.
