Bennett and Game are currently on the lookout for a skilled Purchasing and Inventory Manager for our client based in Hull, who works within the cable assembly manufacturing industry.
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Purchasing and Inventory Manager with a genuine interest in purchasing and buyer management. They will need to be resourceful in getting internal info to get answers back to customers and be collaborative with other teams within the company so the business runs smoothly.
Purchasing and Inventory Manager Job Overview
1. Conduct purchasing and inventory tasks across the business.
2. Communicate with the companies' clients and liaison with other engineering teams on buyer requirements.
3. Will be on the phone discussing company and client requirements.
4. Contributing to the office team by taking a variety of tasks as the workload requires.
5. Maintaining records on internal software systems.
6. Responding to queries in general sales inbox.
Purchasing and Inventory Manager Job Requirements
1. Experience working in a purchasing / buyer / inventory position - preferably within engineering and manufacturing.
2. Good teamwork and customer service skills.
3. Experience communicating regularly with clients and customers.
4. Open to working closely with other teams within the business.
5. A product background within engineering / manufacturing would be more transferable - but not essential.
6. Based within a commutable distance of Hull.
7. Full UK driving licence is needed.
Purchasing and Inventory Manager Salary & Benefits
1. Salary - £26,000 to £32,000 - Dependent upon experience.
2. Working hours - full time position - Monday to Friday.
3. Holiday package.
