About the role
A new opportunity has arisen to join the Financial Processing Team within Corporate Services at Rochdale Borough Council. This role includes supporting the Financial Support Team Leader to provide support including:
* Processing invoices and credit notes received from external suppliers.
* Using the financial system to scan and process invoices and credit notes in line with appropriate deadlines.
* Responding to email and telephone queries and allocate as appropriate.
* To undertake reconciliation work in a timely and accurate manner and to take appropriate action to ensure that the integrity of certain key financial systems is maintained.
About you
The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively within a team, demonstrate their experience of providing a service to others and able to meet daily deadlines whilst ensuring the accuracy of their work.
