The Role
We’re looking for an experienced people professional to join our People Operations Team (POPs) as a business partner. You will partner with managers to provide expert advice and guidance on people-related issues, manage employee relations casework, support or lead on people projects that help to make our people operations approach more proactive and supportive.
Essential Experience
1. Knowledge of all areas of current UK employment law and be keen to maintain and update knowledge.
2. Experience in dealing with complex employee relations (ER) issues and managing an ER caseload. You will support ER cases as required, ensuring the fairness of process and the best way forward for everyone.
3. Strong understanding of a people business partnering approach, with the ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relations.
4. CIPD qualified to Level 5 or similarly qualified by experience.
5. Building manager capabilities through a coaching approach, ensuring effective leadership at all levels.
6. Creating policies aligned with our culture and working with our learning and culture team to ensure we’ve reviewed them with a DEI lens.

3. An eye for detail and accuracy.
4. You will have access to sensitive information and it’s really important this is treated with the upmost confidentiality and only disclosing what is necessary to those who need to know.
5. Be a good team player, supporting your POPs colleagues and keeping a positive attitude.
6. Knowing when to escalate any issues as necessary to get support to work way through any complex or tricky situations.
Other helpful experience:
1. Experience of using our tech tools to keep everything organised, running smoothly and efficiently.
2. Experience of Workday, Microsoft Teams and Office is beneficial.
Salary
Salary: £45-£50,000 per annum (12 month FTC)
