Support Practitioner (Part-Time)
Hours: Part-Time, 15 hours per week
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £85 – £95 a day
About Us:
We’re seeking a compassionate, motivated Support Practitioner to provide focused support to students with additional needs, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Role Overview:
In this part-time role, you will work directly with students who require additional assistance, supporting their daily routines, social engagement, and learning progress. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated, empathetic, and flexible, with a passion for making a difference in young lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one and group support to students with learning, emotional, or behavioural needs
* Assist students with daily routines, fostering independence and confidence
* Work with teachers and staff to adapt tasks and activities for individual needs
* Document and report on student progress and any relevant observations
Requirements:
* Experience in a similar support role, preferably within a school or youth environment
* Strong communication skills, patience, and a positive attitude
* Relevant qualification in Social Care or Education (preferred)
* Availability to work 15 hours per week during school hours
