We are currently hiring a WCA Clinical Performance Lead within Operations, reporting to the Assessment Centre Manager to carry out WCA assessments (Face to Face, Telephone, Video) and produces consistent, concise reports for the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP).
As WCA Clinical Performance Lead you will provide clinical coaching and mentoring to new and tenured HCPs, typically in his/her assessment centre. You will support in delivering quality, productivity, and applicable service level targets by providing clinical expertise and judgment and will be called upon to provide Stage 3 training to new hires and ongoing informal ‘on the job’ training to new hires, case review and ‘on the spot’ coaching to new and tenured HCPs and may be required to deliver classroom training to new HCPs.
Main job duties:
* Conducts WCA assessments using various channels.
* Mentors and coaches HCPs in the centre and are the first point of contact for clinic questions and issues.
* Escalates clinical questions through appropriate channels and communicating J
* Analyses and interpret clinical information and medical evidence and provide a report in a professional and concise manner.
* Provide comprehensive reports to enable decision makers at DWP to make informed decisions regarding benefit claim
* Liaise with Clinical Manager and Head of Quality to develop and embed best practices.
* Attendance at Stakeholder and Customer meetings as required.
* Carry out case reviews and provide ‘on the spot’ feedback to tenured HCPs
* Provide Stage 3 training to new HCPs as required
* Provide training to new HCPs as required and provide feedback for any Approval related audit and New Entrant Audit when received from suppliers Provide support for HCPs in responding to complaints
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
Candidate should be : - A Registered Nurse, physiotherapist or occupational therapist with at least 2 years experience working as a disability analyst.

* Able to work collaboratively with colleagues at various levels of the organisation.
* Effective report writing skills
* Works well as part of a team.
* Ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
* Able to work with tight deadlines.
Desirable but not essential-
* To have knowledge and experience of stage 3 mentoring.
* Trained in completing WCA Audits
Salary £54,000 per annum depending on experience
Location Hybrid (Lewes and Guildford assessment centres )
Permanent / Full time position
Hours 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday
