I am working alongside a leading civil engineering principal contractor. They are looking to on-board a site manager to help deliver an ongoing infrastructure and civils scheme in Surrey. My client operates across the country delivering specialist schemes within the infrastructure sector.
Site Manager Responsibilities:
1. Working alongside and reporting to the project manager.
2. Site supervision.
3. Managing and allocating plant, labour and materials.
4. Management and supervision of direct and subcontract labour.
5. Checking works are being completed in accordance to program and job specification.
6. Checking and signing off permits.
7. Ensuring health and safety compliance.
8. Liaising with the client and local authorities.
9. Record keeping.
Site Manager Requirements:
1. Right to work in the UK.
2. CSCS card - Gold or Black.
3. SMSTS.
4. First aid.
5. Temporary works supervisor or coordinator.
6. PTS.
7. Previous experience with structures and civils.
8. Full UK driving licence.
