Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining light vehicles (mainly vans) to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
Hours & Pay
Mon-Fri 8am-6pm & Every Other Saturday.
Pay rate : £14-£16p/h starting wage.
Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake checks, and tyre rotations.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance work.
* Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and provide accurate reports on findings.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety standards.
* Keep up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge.
