Project Management:
Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of BESS projects.
Develop detailed project plans, including time-lines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure technical specifications meet project requirements.
Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and local authorities.
Facilitate clear and effective communication between all project stakeholders.
Financial Management:
Monitor project budgets and financial performance, ensuring cost control measures are in place.
Prepare regular financial and progress reports for senior management.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all projects comply with relevant local, national, and international regulations.
Keep up-to-date with Welsh energy policies and ensure project alignment with regulatory requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Renewable Energy, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the energy sector, preferably with a focus on BESS or renewable energy projects.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Excellent project management skills, including risk management, scheduling, and budget control.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Willingness to travel across project sites in Wales as needed.
Valid UK driving license.
