7twenty Professional Search is delighted to partner with one of Northern Irelands leading manufacturers of building supplies as they seek to appoint an Operations Manager. Reporting into the Factory Manager, the Operations Manager has overall responsibility for the Production, Manufacturing, H&S and Quality teams. Championing change management and with a large emphasis on continuous improvement, the Operations Manager will streamline processes and maximise efficiency within the factory. The Operations Manager will bridge the gap between Senior Management and the operational teams, building strong working relationships and driving operational excellence. The following skills and experience would be required: Significant leadership experience in an operational role within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment. Demonstrable experience of successfully implementing continuous improvement methodologies such as LEAN, Six Sigma, KAIZEN etc. Proven track record in successfully leading a multi-functional team across various shift patterns, driving results and improvements in each area of responsibility. Experience of setting and measuring key performance indicators and improving performance against these. Evidence of establishing and maintaining excellent business relationships with key external and internal stakeholders.
