Class 2 Driver Position
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2Driver to join our client in Yaxley, Peterborough.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 6am - 4pm (10 hours per day)
Compensation: £13.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
Vehicle Inspection
* Perform daily walk-around checks of the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy.
* Raise any defects or issues found during the inspection.
Load Safety
* Inspect loads before leaving the depot to ensure they are securely fastened.
* Request assistance if necessary to secure loads safely.
Additional Responsibilities
* Adhere to company policies and procedures.
* Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections and load safety checks.
Requirements:
A valid Class 2 driving license is required for this position. Previous experience as a driver is preferred but not essential.
