Job Description
Catering Manager is a key role within our team, requiring strong leadership and organizational skills to manage the day-to-day operations of the care home's catering department.
This position involves overseeing the preparation and serving of meals for residents, managing budgets, ordering supplies, and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the catering department to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
* Oversee meal planning, preparation, and presentation to meet the dietary needs of residents
* Maintain accurate records of food inventory, expenses, and budget reports
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality assurance standards
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar role or related industry
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
