Job Title: Performance and Data Manager Location: London Salary: £52,000 - £58,000 depending on experience Contract: Full time, Permanent with Hybrid working Purpose of the Role: To lead the collection, analysis, and reporting of performance data across the organisation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in the social housing sector. This role will support the organisation in delivering high-quality services by providing actionable insights, maintaining robust data systems, and driving continuous improvement through performance monitoring. Key Responsibilities: Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report on the performance of housing services, identifying trends and benchmarking against other registered providers in the social housing sector. Produce, analyse, and present performance data for senior leadership, the Board, and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as those set by the Regulator of Social Housing. Provide clear and concise reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), highlighting areas for improvement and recognising achievements. Support the development and implementation of performance improvement plans, ensuring alignment with sector standards and tenant expectations. Data Management: Develop and maintain data management systems that support the delivery of tenant services and operational goals. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data through regular audits and checks of housing service records. Collaborate with IT teams and service managers to resolve data issues and enhance reporting processes. Assist in the preparation and analysis of tenant satisfaction measures and other feedback mechanisms to inform service delivery improvements. Insight and Improvement: Provide Heads of Service and senior leaders with detailed performance analysis and insights to inform strategic and operational decisions. Use data to identify service gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement, ensuring a focus on enhancing tenant satisfaction and service quality. Support the preparation of deep-dive reports and presentations for Board meetings, tenant scrutiny panels, and regulatory inspections. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, external auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure transparency and accountability in performance management. Work collaboratively with housing service managers to implement and monitor performance improvement initiatives. Represent the organisation at sector meetings, conferences, and best practice forums to stay informed of emerging trends and share knowledge. Skills and Experience: Essential Skills and Knowledge: Proven experience in a performance management role within the social housing sector or a similar regulated environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data clearly to a range of audiences. Familiarity with regulatory requirements for housing providers, including those from the Regulator of Social Housing and the Housing Ombudsman. Proficiency in reporting tools, data management systems, and performance monitoring processes relevant to social housing. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels. Qualifications: A qualification in business administration, data management, or a related field.
