Pulse Nursing are delighted to be offering a variety of shifts within A&E Departments in the West Yorkshire area. Our A&E Nurses will deliver treatments to patients with injuries and serious illnesses in a busy and demanding A&E setting. No shift in this A&E department, is ever the same, you will face many different case types whilst providing an invaluable service to individuals in a critical time of need.
Pulse Nursing are offering a number of shift patterns and flexible shifts across day and night hours in friendly and welcoming teams.
Rates for the A&E Nurse are between £27.00 to £40.70
A&E Nurse responsibilities includes:
1. Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.
2. Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilize patients, providing life-saving measures when necessary.
3. Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients’ conditions.
4. Assisting the medical team in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting the results.
5. Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians.
6. Initiating and maintaining intravenous access for patients requiring fluids and medications.
7. Assisting with minor procedures, wound care, and patient immobilization.
A&E Nurse role Requirements:
8. NMC Registration 6 months
9. 6 months experience in A&E in the last 12 months- able to provide 2 references for verification covering the last 3 years of work.
10. To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, and Occupational Health and Updated CV
11. Right to work within the UK – Documented proof will be required.
