We currently have an opportunity for someone to join and make a significant contribution to the work of our friendly and supportive Trust governance team. The postholder will assist in the provision of a professional clerking service across the Trust, primarily leading on those duties in specific schools. On occasion and by negotiation, there may be other duties required such as covering other meetings or project-based work, which will incur additional hours and pay.
Tasks include:
1. Proactive agenda setting and minute taking
2. Attending pre-school, after-school and/or evening meetings at the school
3. Attending governance training and team meetings
4. Advising Trustees and Committee Members about process and their legal responsibilities after suitable training
Applicants will be passionate about education and providing children with the best opportunities. You will possess high-level ICT skills in Microsoft Office applications, a good level of written English, as well as integrity and reliability. You will be well organized and have a love for attention to detail. The pre- and post-meeting work can be done at home, or there is access to office space if preferred.

Grade 5, Point 11-14, £13.47 per hour starting salary pay award pending.
Start date: ASAP.
The post is term time only and permanent. You will be salaried for a minimum of 160 hours per year to be worked flexibly to meet the needs of the role.
