We shape and deliver nuclear safety and security regulation across the UK. We’re investing hugely in digital applications and channels — from new tech capabilities to sprint methodologies, the cloud and scrum mentality, it’s a big transformation. And as our Service Transition Manager, you’ll be the crucial link between new products, production environments and a range of crucial business functions. The role We’re a cloud-only organisation using Azure and the Power platform to centralise all data and create a single source of truth. An entire Microsoft ecosystem at your fingertips, giving you the chance to change and influence what we do. So, you’ll see your impact from day one. You’ll liaise with our business functions to deliver all new products sustainably. In each case you’ll accept products, decide if they’re fit for purpose and assess their readiness against the service acceptance criteria you’ve set. You’ll also need to make sure they can be implemented without impacting the business by compromising its environments, and within the change delivery lifecycle. Acting as the lead for service transition and change, you’ll have to focus on a great customer experience for stakeholders. That will see you make recommendations on go-live, early life support and service acceptance, and ensure that the wider IT Operations team understands the acceptance criteria. The person Along with your ITIL Foundation accreditation, you’ll have expertise in Service Transition and Change, ITIL service delivery framework as it applies to IT operations. You’ll also have planned and transitioned IT services into operations and delivered projects according to the project delivery lifecycle model. You’ll have strong customer service awareness and you’ll enjoy working collaboratively to support the wider business and service delivery agenda.
