The position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage orders, monitor project costs, and ensure efficient coordination with our clients, suppliers, and Contracts Managers. What we need from you as a Project Coordinator: A minimum of 2 years experience working in a fast-paced office environment You must have the ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently in a structured environment Good attention to detail, high accuracy, and efficiency in all tasks Confident, courteous, and clear in all communications with clients and team members Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Outlook Experience managing incoming emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner Able to prioritise workload, react swiftly and effectively to last-minute changes and unexpected issues, which frequently occur within the construction industry What the role involves: As a Project Coordinator, your duties will include a mix of the following tasks: Collaborate daily with Contracts Managers, issuing schedules detailing expected deliveries Raising purchase orders and verifying them against project allocations, ensuring the best rates are achieved. Flag any potential overspends with the Managing Director Manage equipment hires by securing the best rates available and maintaining a daily summary of equipment on-hire Communicate project timelines, start dates, or delays to Clients and Contracts Mangers as necessary Maintain both physical and digital customer order and contract files Record all material and equipment costs for each project as purchase orders are placed, ensuring accurate project cost management Liaise with our Health and Safety department to ensure the smooth running of the project Deliver high-level customer service in all client communications, both over the phone and via email Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per year, depending on experience. Hours: Working Monday Friday 8.30am 5pm, with one hour for lunch each day.
