We’re seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our EMEA Legal team as a Paralegal for our Markets business, with primary coverage for our Liquidity & Financing platform. This is an exciting moment to join us and be part of BNY’s commercial growth. This role is based in Manchester. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Support the legal team in the execution of strategic business initiatives through the provision of paralegal support Prepare contracts and legal documentation for liquidity and financing products Assist with regulatory change implementation projects Support the development and deployment of new products Manage templates and periodic updates Attend meetings and follow up on actions with business and other stakeholders Research legal topics, and maintain our legal knowhow /library To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Paralegal experience gained with a reputable law firm or in-house legal team Law qualification /degree or equivalent legal training Strong attention to detail and able to competently work with large amounts of information Advanced document processing capabilities; competent with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) Experienced in setting up and/or managing databases / document management systems Good time management and organisation skills: proactive, able to prioritise tasks, set clear and realistic deadlines and manage expectations Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Enthusiastic in making connections and thrive in an inclusive environment Intellectually curious, adaptable, and committed to continuous growth At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
