With operations across the globe and an ever-expanding customer base, this prestigious manufacturer is planning the next part of their recruitment push. Following recent investment, they are looking for a BOAS qualified Boiler Maintenance Engineer to join their well-established engineering team. The company has multiple sites within the organisation and offers opportunities for employees to train both internally and externally to become the best engineer possible.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the day-to-day running of the utility processes, improving and maintaining the areas of responsibility.
* Operate and maintain the utility processes, such as but not limited to the Steam Boiler/Generators, Air Compressors, and associated equipment and processes.
* Drive improvement solutions from start to completion.
* Effectively communicate with all members of the operations team including engineering, production, safety, and quality teams.
* Input into engineering maintenance strategy to eradicate breakdowns.
* Ensure improvements are sustainable, share knowledge with all team members, and update engineering standards and maintenance.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* BOAS qualified is ESSENTIAL to do the job.
* Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship.
* Qualified to ONC/HND and NVQ3 or equivalent.
* Understanding and experience of Steam Boilers, Steam Generators, Air Compressors, and associated equipment and processes.
* Ideally worked in an FMCG / Food-related industry.
* Worked in a similar Utilities Role / Boiler Maintenance Engineering position.
