We are looking for a friendly and versatile chef with experience working in a kitchen and producing high quality food. Our Business Hours for Breakfast Service are 7.30am – 12:30pm. Opportunities for extra hours if required.
You will be expected to
• Check freshness of food and ingredients
• Cook customers’ orders according to their preferences
• Ensure uniform serving sizes and quality of meals
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality
• Follow food safety best practices and ensure that all team are compliant
• Ensure stock rotation in the fridges and constant waste reduction i.e., minimising over ordering.
• Do daily preparation
• Supervise our F&B team members in the kitchen, and you are expected to lead by example i.e., working efficiently and keeping the kitchen a safe environment to work in.
• Act with appropriate caution in a dangerous environment where there are knives and high-temperature surfaces
• Be flexible to take on extra duties when necessary
This is a Fixed Term position that requires you to be available to work weekends, school holidays, and Bank Holidays.
Hours will be rostered in advance. You must also be flexible to meet the peak and off-peak demands of our opening.
