Are you an experienced Site Supervisor with a passion for delivering high-quality projects? We are looking for a proactive and reliable individual to assist with the on-site installation of buildings and provide day-to-day supervision for our Contracts Department.
About the Role:
As a Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that all site activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with laid-down procedures. You will work closely with subcontractors, clients, and the Contracts Manager to oversee progress and maintain high standards on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with the installation of building sections and ensure defects are rectified as necessary.
2. Supervise and provide guidance to subcontractors and trades on-site.
3. Maintain the site and site accommodation in a clean, safe, and presentable condition.
4. Conduct Health & Safety inductions and deliver toolbox talks as required.
5. Produce weekly progress reports and attend monthly progress meetings if needed.
6. Act as the site safety representative and competent person on-site.
7. Liaise with clients, providing advice and ensuring strong relationships.
8. Ensure all work adheres to Health & Safety regulations, risk assessments, and method statements.
9. Monitor and control site costs, ensuring plant and equipment are managed efficiently.
10. Report progress, issues, and variations to the Contracts Manager.
About You:
To excel in this role, you will need the following essential criteria:
* Candidates should have experience of managing sub-contract trades.
* Candidates should hold a Black CSCS Card.
* First Aid at Work.
* Must be fully conversant with CDM Regulations.
* Must be computer literate.
* Must have good administrative and man-management skills.
* Must be willing to travel and stay away from time to time.
