We are seeking a Document Automation Specialist in our Southampton office who will work closely with the Group Director of Knowledge and other members of the KM team, key stakeholder partners, and external providers to design, project manage and deliver the pipeline of legal precedents selected for automation and other such firm documents. The role will include planning and implementing the testing, communication and roll out of new automated documents, and collecting and reflecting feedback. Duties and responsibilities include: Work with internal stakeholders to respond to requests for automated individual and suites of documents of documents and to project manage the pipeline of work Work with those stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, provide advice and recommendations to enhance and optimise automations Oversee and project manage the roll-out of new automations including managing resourcing (and helping lawyers with simple automation) and other operational aspects including feedback, evaluation and ongoing improvements Maintain our library of automated documents and collaborate with our business analysts and IT teams to ensure easy access to and use of automations Work with the Group Director of Knowledge to manage external vendor relationships, including logistics, contracts and invoices and monitor the annual document automation budget Candidates will have: At least 2 years' document automation experience using a leading legal automation tool such as Avvoka or Contract Express, preferably in a law firm, legal department or professional services environment Legal experience and knowledge of legal documents strongly preferred Experience and knowledge of evolving automation tool functionality and methods Experience in designing and developing a document automation programme to successful delivery or substantially contributing to such design and development Please click on "Apply Now" to submit a CV for this vacancy.
