Job overview
The Senior Income Accountant participates in interpreting and implementing the NHS Payment Scheme rules and provides advice to
directorates and senior managers of the impact of changes to tariff guidance on the Trust's clinical income. The job is also responsible for reporting on and interpreting clinical income at both a directorate and trust wide level.
To be successful in this post you will be required to have excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to manage your own
workload, work to tight deadlines and have a good eye for detail.
You should have experience working in a complex financial environment and have excellent technical and communication skills. You will be
responsible for the line management of two Band 6 Finance & Contracts accountants, and should have experience of managing and developing
staff.
