We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality and CI Engineer to join our existing team in Leeds, HQ.
The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Quality and CI and working closely with all Steeper departments and clinics, internal and external suppliers and customers you will help ensure the effective and efficient day to day quality operation within Steeper. This will include inspection, auditing, complaint investigation, calibration, QMS documentation improvements, returns processing and CI projects. The role is very much hands on within a small but very productive team.
Responsibilities:
* Provide monthly quality reports to the management team including KPl's for quality objectives and statistical analysis to monitor and identify areas for continuous improvement
* Goods inwards inspection of purchased mechanical and electrical components using various hand measurement tools, test fixtures and OGP multi-sensor measuring equipment to a defined sampling plan
* Investigating and resolving quality issues/complaints using the corrective and preventative action process for internal, supplier and external customer issues
* Act as a position of influence in the strategic quality direction at Steeper, working with QA in cross functional teams.
What we are looking for:
* Have previous experience working in a quality inspection role.
* Experienced with quality & CI tools such as: Root Cause & Corrective Action, Process Mapping, FMEA, & Control Plans, Process Auditing
* Demonstrable experience of maintaining ISO9001 and ISO13485 systems
* Metrology experience
* Microsoft Excel proficient
