PURPOSE OF JOB:
To work with the Legal team to provide key support for efficient and effective contracts administration within the business with a focus on software and hardware supply, professional services, and managed services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Reviewing and responding to legal issues and enquiries from both internal and external customers
2. Ensuring end-to-end management of all contracts that pass through the Legal department – MSA, GTC, EULA, Reseller Agreements, Tenders, Frameworks
3. Reviewing key professional services Partner Agreements
4. Responding to general legal enquiries
INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Working closely with the Vendor Ops, Sales, Tenders, Finance, and Services teams to provide support to partners, customers, and suppliers in drafting relevant contracts
2. Drafting / redrafting and negotiating agreements
3. Representing Bytes in front of both customers and suppliers throughout commercial discussions and negotiations
4. Supporting the Legal team with contractual matters
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Educational Qualifications:
1. Degree in Business or Law - Essential
Years of Experience:
1. 1-2 years’ worth of experience in a contracts administration or legal administration role - Essential
Other Requirements:
1. Negotiation skills - Desirable
2. A good understanding of both the UK legal system and commercial law - Desirable
3. A general understanding of IT reseller relationships - Desirable
4. Experience with public sector frameworks - Desirable
