This role is for 40 hours per week, spread over 5 nights, from 10 pm until 6 am and includes weekends.
During the night shift, you will prepare food for room service and for the Brabazon bar which serves a selection of light dishes.
You will also be responsible for:
1. Assisting with food prep for the following day's service for the breakfast team and banqueting kitchen.
2. Ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen is maintained ready for the next day and in line with food safety requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a chef and have experience in working night shifts. In addition, you will be:
1. Passionate about food and working with seasonal ingredients.
2. Standards-driven, with a fantastic eye for detail.
3. Possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
4. Experienced in taking ownership over your section and working towards guidelines of portion control including weights and measurements and logging all wastage for more accurate GP %.
5. Able to develop strong relationships with your team and colleagues.
6. Proficient in understanding of COSHH and HACCP on food storage.

Salary
The on-target earning potential for this role is £25,418 annual salary, compromising of a base salary of £23,754 plus a qualified estimate of £1,664 gratuities per annum, ensuring a rewarding compensation package.
