About You
You will need to have current NMC registration and a good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices to join us as a Registered Nurse (RGN). Experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments is important too, as is an understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines. Dedicated and compassionate, you'll pride yourself on your person-centred, thoughtful approach to nursing.

Job Overview
Nursing in a care home is challenging but rewarding. You will be responsible for the care and wellbeing of our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met while leading, motivating and mentoring your team of carers. Providing clinical leadership will ensure smooth, safe and efficient running of the care home. Promoting residents' independence, dignity, and choice is extremely important. You will maintain accurate records and have an eye for detail to manage any arising issues. You will also make critical clinical decisions and provide medicine safely.
As nurse in charge of the shift, you will coordinate, monitor, and lead your team to ensure the best standards of care are delivered to our residents.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Job
* Ensure Service Users are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes enhance their wellbeing.
* Undertake Care Planning activities to meet changing needs, considering privacy, dignity, personal choice, and informed consent.
* Develop Care Plans in collaboration with Service Users, their family, and the multi-disciplinary team.
* Manage medication in line with legal, professional, and regulatory requirements.
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of individuals supported.
* Work within the NMC Code of Conduct.
* Act as a mentor to others and build strong team relationships.
* Update and monitor care plans, reviewing them as required.
* Demonstrate strong clinical skills and ensure documentation complies with NMC guidelines.
* Liaise with other healthcare professionals.
* Provide nursing care in accordance with current best practices and policies.
