Our public sector are looking for a Financial Services Team Leader to join them on a temporary basis.
Location – Coalville (Hybrid working
Pay Rate – £19.39ph - £20.22ph
You will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and income managements teams as well as the finance assistant who is responsible for insurance on a day to day basis.
As well as the day-to-day management, also assisting with improvements to the Unit 4 system and making processes more efficient.
Core Responsibilities:
* Maintain a high standard of customer service throughout the Financial Services team.
* Act as a main point of contact for the Council in relation to Financial Services functions.
* To act as the authority’s lead for employer related tax and VAT.
* To act as one of the Council’s authorised bank signatories.
* Administration of the Council’s bank account and Corporate Credit Card and associated online systems.
* Supporting the Systems Accountant with the administration and development of the finance systems.
