Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £89 - £99 Per day Job Duties: Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities in a classroom setting Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) Help students with personal care tasks, if required Support teachers in delivering lessons and activities Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Relevant experience working with students with special educational needs Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience: Prior experience working with students with special educational needs Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of special educational needs and disabilities Ability to provide individualised support to students Strong communication and teamwork skills Patience and empathy when working with students Preferred Qualifications: Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools First Aid certification Working Conditions: Work in a classroom setting within a school Full-time hours, Monday to Friday Potential for personal care tasks as needed All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
