About Us
Black Country Alternative Provision launched in December 2024 and is Youth Engagement Schools’ (The YES Trust) newest establishment. The site is located in Wolverhampton and is comprised of two academies, The Kairos Academy (Alternative Provision KS3 & KS4) and The Vireo Academy (SEMH Alternative Provision and Home & Hospital School KS2, KS3, KS4).
Students at both academies within Black Country Alternative Provision (BCAP) are given the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of vocational and practical subjects that give them opportunities to progress personally, socially and academically. The curriculum is underpinned by high-quality teaching of traditional academic subjects and all lessons are taught in small classes. Both academies also enjoy access to BCAP’s impressive Sports Centre and Skills Centre.
BCAP’s vision is not only to become a beacon of excellence for Wolverhampton and The Black Country but to become a jewel in the crown of the Alternative Provision landscape across England. All of our staff aspire to provide world-changing education and to live up to this standard in everything that we do.
We welcome interest from candidates with a strong work ethic who share our trust values of being child-centred, adaptive, sensitive to need, and authentic in our relationships. Please get in touch with us if you would like to visit us or have any further questions. School visits are available on 7th April 2025 at 10am, 9th April 2025 at 1pm, or 29th April 2025 at 10am.
