Location/Division Specific Information Paisley, Distribution We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Quality Engineer II for our distribution operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards before reaching our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, with specific experience in distribution or logistics environments advantageous but not essential. This position will involve collaboration with various departments to implement and maintain quality systems and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Perform daily Good Distribution Practice checks & enforcement - Take ownership for the Document Control System, and help to prepare new SOPs and edit/delete revised Standard Operating Procedures - Responsible for driving investigations and reporting of Customer Complaints - Responsible for maintaining the DC Training matrix in conjunction with the operations team - Train and support Distribution staff to foster a cohesive team that achieves department goals and metrics. - Facilitating & participate in Customer/Internal audits - Utilise and be responsible for the Trackwise system - non- conformances, deviations, CAPA - Utilise problem-solving skills related to quality issues ensuring timely resolution for minimal impact. - Embrace site PPI initiatives and adopt this methodology in day-to-day tasks - Participate in personal development to further enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the position - Perform independently without continual direction and exercise considerable latitude in determining solutions to complex problems. Identify and implement opportunities for improvement across the operational function - Deputise for Quality Assurance Manager as required including participating in customer audits/visits and represent the Quality team in site projects and initiatives - May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned Qualifications: Solid understanding of Regulatory and Quality System requirements (ISO13485/FDA CFR) A Bachelor's degree in Quality Management or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, applicants with proven experience in quality assurance, specifically in distribution or logistics, are also eligible. Proficiency in quality management software and tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Working Conditions: This position may require occasional travel (Less than 25%) to distribution centers and other company locations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. The role is mostly desk-based, but there may be instances where work in a warehouse is vital.
