Quality Manager required to support company-wide business objectives leading change in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Skills:
1. Automotive quality management senior or management experience within an OEM environment.
2. Six Sigma methodologies.
3. ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 management systems.
4. ISO 14001 advantageous.
5. Engineering background.
6. Error Proofing and 8D.
7. Core Tool experience including FMEA, PPAP, Control Plans, APQP etc.
8. IT skills.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Promoting and implementing quality and continuous improvement through the organisation.
2. Develop and implement quality methods and practices to achieve excellent standards.
3. Advise on Quality Assurance system changes and implement where necessary.
4. Aiding Supplier quality to incorporate processes.
5. KPI Management.
6. Managing the team of inspectors, Quality Engineers, and metrologists, as well as internal auditors.
7. Managing the legislation of product produced.
8. Assisting and guiding the European subsidiaries with quality issues.
9. Leading annual external certification audits.
