Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Sale Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £95 Per day Job Duties: Provide support to students with special educational needs in the classroom setting Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans for students Help students with their learning activities and provide additional guidance as needed Support students with behaviour management and social interaction skills Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the overall well-being and progress of students Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting Understanding of special educational needs and the ability to adapt support strategies accordingly Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of special educational needs and different support strategies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience, empathy, and understanding Preferred Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools First Aid training Working Conditions: Work in a classroom setting within a school environment Full-time hours, typically during school hours Potential for some flexibility in working hours based on school schedule Opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
