Mergers & Acquisitions - Assistant Manager (4695)
Job Purpose
As a Mergers & Acquisitions Assistant Manager, you will take responsibility for further developing Forvis Mazars' M&A department through the delivery of a high-quality service across a range of clients, including advising on disposals, acquisitions, fundraisings and management buyouts.
In the main the work will focus on privately owned businesses in the mid-market with an enterprise value up to £100m.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Researching and preparing for new deal opportunities and pitches.
2. Preparing transaction documentation – business plans, information memoranda and financial forecasts.
3. Researching and approaching potential buyers / sellers for clients.
4. Project managing aspects of larger transactions and project managing, in full, smaller ones.
5. Supporting the team in marketing activity as well as building your own market profile.
6. Build strong working relationships with the client, ensuring any problems or requests are dealt with promptly.
7. Show vision and a strategic perspective and focus on the achievement of longer-term goals.
8. Maintaining control and stability under pressure whilst recognising the deadline or urgency to be dealt with.
