Holt Engineering Recruitment are looking for a Stores Operative to join one of their engineering clients based in Portsmouth.
As the Stores Operative, you will play a crucial role within the Stores, supporting the business in the upkeep and organisation of the onsite stores.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Kit preparing for the production team
2. Packing for distribution to production
3. Be responsible for organising and maintaining the stores and all physical stocks
4. Ensuring all parts are stored and issued correctly to avoid damage
5. Follow all Health & Safety guidelines
6. Inputting data information into computers
7. Following instructions for picking & packing
Minimum Requirements:
1. Have experience working within a manufacturing stores (desirable)
2. Have kitting or Picking & Packing experience
3. High level of attention to detail
4. Be PC literate
5. Accurate data entry and stock checks experience
6. Be able to read and follow instructions for picking & packing
This is a temporary to permanent role, working a day shift Monday to Thursday with an early finish on Fridays, paying £12 - £12.50ph.
