About the role – Split shift Part time To undertake the transport of Ocado employees, visitors and contractors between the local railways stations, other Ocado sites and local amenities. As well as ensuring to complete other requested journeys and postal deliveries when organised by the reception team. The shifts are as follows: Monday – Thursday 7AM – 10AM and 4:30PM – 7PM You will be Following the schedule and route set out to collect employees from the local stations to get them to Ocado locations efficiently and safely Transporting postal letters and parcels between Ocado locations to ensure these are in the correct locations for employees to collect Supporting on ad-hoc requests given by the Reception team, such as but not limited to, extra runs to stations, journeys to other sites etc. Driving safely throughout shift as drivers will be in branded buses and are ambassadors of Ocado Providing excellent customer service to all passengers Ensuring the vehicle is kept in a clean and in a presentable condition, the bus should be cleaned at least once a week or more if needed. All cleaning supplies will be provided, if more is needed this should be requested through the Reception and Hospitality Team Lead. Report all potential hazards they may encounter to Reception and Hospitality Team Lead Shuttle Bus Drivers are responsible for the safety of themselves, the passengers you carry and the vehicle. Ensure that the vehicle is roadworthy before use. Walkaround safety checks are to be completed at the beginning of each shift, for split shifts this will be completed at both AM and PM start time. Safety checks to be completed on the Samsara app. Paper copies of the walk around checks are only to be used if any issues with the app, if the app is not working this should be reported immediately to Reception and Hospitality Team Lead. Sheets to be handed in every Friday. All defects to be reported via Samsara app and to Reception and hospitality Team Lead via paper defect sheet Vehicle are not to be driven if they are not safe, an alternative vehicle will be assigned by Reception and Hospitality Team Lead All Ocado vehicles are tracked for safety of all, this will be shared with customers to allow them to plan their journeys Uniform - You will be provided with company branded uniform as part of your role. The uniform consists of Tshirt, Trousers, Shoes, Jackets, Sweatshirt and Hats. Please refer to the Uniform and Dress Code Policy on Guru to understand the expectations in terms of your uniform in your role.
