We are an independent family-run hotel set in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside with an excellent reputation as a venue for weddings, ceremonies, family celebrations, conferences, and meetings.
We are recruiting for 2x Night Set Up Porters to join our busy team on a part-time basis.
The role will require about +/- 40 hours a week and will be mostly overnight with some early morning work.
The role of Night Set Up Porter will involve:
* Setting up conference rooms and event spaces, moving chairs, furniture, and other items around the site as required.
* Ensuring all areas are presentable and ready for daily operations the following days.
* Maintaining the venues and immediate gardens to be clean, presentable, and tidy.
* Maintaining service and storage areas, monitoring what is used, and ensuring items are returned and handed over if not.
* Bottling water from our direct source ready for the following day.
* Having previous hotel experience in a similar role.
* Having a flexible approach to work and willingness to work the hours required by the business.
* Maintaining an excellent standard of presentation.
* Hours will vary depending on the business needs, between 20-40 hours per week.
* Be knowledgeable about general hotel operations.
