My National client is currently recruiting for a Store Manager for their Bristol, high end Retail Establishment.
The main purpose of this role is to manage the Retail Team and monitor the day-to-day running of the store. Generate sales through Retail and Trade customers, concentrating on reaching sales targets and increasing profits. Stock control and merchandise along with staff training and to follow Company health and safety policy.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage and motivate the staff according to Company policies and employment laws.
2. Manage costs and overheads, monthly sales margins and targets and all factors affecting the
3. profitable performance of the store.
4. Train and develop new and existing staff members.
5. Manage and improve staffs selling and customer service interaction with consumers to optimise and
6. sustain sales performance, profitability and customer satisfaction.
7. Seek and continuously develop knowledge and information about customer activity, pricing and
8. tactics and communicate this to relevant departments in the Company.
9. Maintain and develop trade relationships to drive sales.
10. Ensure relevant HR procedures are followed (appraisals, performance management etc.).
11. Efficiently and within Company timescales store paperwork/record data.
12. Manage cash, payment systems and banking in accordance with Company procedures and policies.
